Name: Randall Schudel Date: May 5th, 1934 - July 7th, 2009 Obituary: ADRIAN – Randall J. Schudel, age 75 of Adrian, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Bixby Medical Center. Randy was born May 5, 1934 in Wauseon, Ohio, the only child of George and Louise (VonDeylen) Schudel. From 1953 to 1957, he served his country in the United States Air Force. On February 1, 1957, he married Norma “Jean” Gerken at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Freedom Township, Ohio. Jean, his wife of over 52 years, survives. Randy retired from Fayette Tubular in 1996. In addition to his wife, Randy is survived by two sons, Steven (Shirley) Schudel of Bowling Green and Scott (Melinda) Schudel of Adrian. Also surviving are four grandsons, Alan (Rebecca), Christopher, Daniel, and James; two granddaughters, Jeryl, and Kellie; and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter in infancy. The funeral service for Randy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2009, at Wagley Funeral Home with Rev. Joel Sarrault officiating. Burial will follow at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.
