Name: Shirley Elliott Date: August 13th, 1928 - July 16th, 2009 Obituary: ADRIAN – Shirley L. Elliott, age 80 of Adrian, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2009 at her home. She was born to Noel and Virginia (Franks) Osborne August 13, 1928. Shirley was a graduate of Adrian High School. On September 27, 1963, Shirley married Jack Elliott in Hudson. Jack preceded her in death in 1990. Shirley worked at Bixby Medical Center for 17 years, retiring in 1995. She enjoyed flower gardening and reading. Shirley was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was also a member of the American Legion, Eagles, and the Moose Auxiliary. Shirley is survived by one sister, Molly Burger; four children: Melissa Pelham, Jeff (Jackie) Pelham, Stan Elliott, and Steve Elliott; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Shirley was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Osborne. The memorial service for Shirley will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 20, 2009 at Wagley Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Jewett officiating.
